Trevor
Sise Wins $15k in UBB Miners Memorial!

(June
21, 2025) The biggest event of the AAS season, the UBB
Miners Memorial, paying $15,000 to win took place this past weekend
at Beckley Motor Speedway. Thirty-nine of the very best pro late
models in the country assembled to make it one of the strongest
fields of cars we've ever had on hand.
With the feature
lineup set in part from Friday's preliminary action, the 100-lap
main event on Saturday would take place with Trevor Sise leading
the field to the green. Sise was in perfect form as the first
fifty laps quickly ticked away catching and passing any lapped
traffic he may have to deal with. At the break, he dropped some
fuel int he car and was ready to roll again. He had Hayden Cardwell
and Dillon Brown hot on his heels all night, but neither could
make a pass happen. Sise would go on to lead all 100 laps and
get the biggest payday of his career! Hayden Cardwell would make
a wild move on the last lap to go for victory but would come up
just short finishing second with Dillon Brown crossing the line
in third. Zack Dohm and Benji Hicks had a heck of a race to finish
fourth and fifth. Gregory Carrico took sixth with points leader
Tyler Arrington finishing seventh. John Ruggiero Jr., Kendal Tucker,
and Henry Hornsby III would round out the top ten. |

Jeff
Oliver Bests Carolina Sprint Tour Special!

(May
24, 2025) The Carolina Sprint Tour presented by GSR Chassis
rolled into Beckley Motor Speedway tonight for a thrilling night
of sprint car action, co-sanctioned with the Ohio Thunder IMCA
Racesaver Sprint Car Series. On a cool Appalachian evening, 19
cars signed in for battle at the high-banked West Virginia oval.
It was Cale
Cozad and Wyatt Justice bringing the field to the green flag.
Justice wasted no time, grabbing the lead on lap one and showing
the way through heavy traffic. Behind him, Cozad and Jadan Bowling
gave chase until disaster struck on lap 15 — Cozad looped
his No. 34 in turn two and collected Bowling in the incident,
ending both of their nights prematurely. Thankfully, both drivers
were unhurt.
On the restart,
Jeff Oliver powered to the lead on lap 16. Moments later, Michigan’s
Alex Clute spun in turn one but was able to continue. From there,
it was all Oliver at the front, fending off a late charge from
Justice and Jeff Weaver to claim his 20th career Carolina Sprint
Tour victory and his first since June 2023 at Toccoa Raceway.

Coffey Pockets $1,500 with Elite Series!

(May
17, 2025) Wyatt Coffey, at just 12 years old, picked
up the win in the inaugural Elite Racing Series event tonight
at Beckley Motor Speedway! Wyatt would lead flag-to-flag in the
30-lap headliner to secure the $1,500 payday in the 602 Late Model
special, but he was not able to relax, as Trey Stamper stayed
within striking distance for most of the contest. Third through
fifth was contested the entire race between Matthew Duggins, Daniel
Durham, and Dawson Lowe. Only one caution flag slowed the action,
as Bryce Smith had incidental contact with Ryan LaRue on lap 27
causing him to spin. Smith rallied back to seventh place at the
checkered flag. Up next at the Mount Hope, West Virginia facility
will be a visit by the Carolina Sprint Tour on Saturday evening,
May 24. | full
